Rockie Zeigler
I've been fortunate to work in all areas of printing going through the ranks in my 28 years in the business (took a 10-year hiatus to work in the investment banking field). I earned my B.S. in Finance in 1978 from Illinois State University (worked days – schooled nights). I have worked as a shipping clerk, folder and cutter operator, press feeder, pressman, scheduling clerk, estimator, sales rep, production manager, CFO, sales manager and became president of OSP in 1990.
This isn't a complicated business — make the customer's needs the sole focus of the business and opportunities will present themselves. Our philosophy is to make OSP an enjoyable place to work with and to work for and I've trusted our management team with the latitude to operate within those two specific parameters — pick the right people and get the heck out of their way. I am continually thankful for the confidence our customers have placed in us over the years and am proud of each of our employees. We have a shop full of professionals who also happen to be delightful people with which to work.
I am the proud father of 3 grown kids. My son, Rock, graduated from Bradley University in 2004 and lives in Peoria. Penny is working on her Master's at Loyola in Chicago and Megan is a junior at Bradley. Nancy and I live for our grandson, Austin. I play some golf, fish once-in-a-while, do some landscaping, constantly work on our 80 year-old home and do some mission work at Illinois maximum state prisons and in Haiti.
